ELHO has been working in the field of heat technology. During these years it has become an innovative partner meeting customer demands and requirements by offering tailor-made solutions. ELHO is a medium-scale company with expertise in planning, developing and producing industrial furnaces that incorporate the most modern technologies.

Specially designed computer programmes assist research and development. ELHO puts particular emphasis on customer service. A fast, flexible and non-bureaucratic approach has resulted in good and fruitful co-operation.

On this WebSite we intend to briefly introduce you our range of products and manufacturing program, as well as new devices with proven quality in  Austria and abroad. ....from the smallest heating element to the high-performance industrial furnace.

Heat made-to-measure

ELHO’s industrial furnace program is not standardised as to dimensions and detailed design, since standardisation in this sector often means compromise solutions for the customer. Instead, design and production is aimed to meet our customers’ individual requirements.

At ELHO ”Quality from Austria ” is a reality and not merely an advertising slogan. All our heating plants and furnaces are based on a stable, welded steel construction. Unless otherwise specified by the customer’s technical requirements, the outer casing is a double-varnish coated steel casing (RAL colour on request); and the inner casing is manufactured in various designs and material depending on the field of application and the relevant temperature range. For furnaces having to sustain high temperature ranges (above 400°C), we manufacture inner casings made of high-quality steel or fireproof steel sheets. For example, sterilizers used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry are manufactured entirely from high-grade steel.

High quality is a guarantee for a long service life.

Regulations/Tests

All our furnace installations are manufactured in conformity with European standards according to the regulations of the VDE, the ÖVE, etc. We also deliver with the CE-mark, as well as a declaration of conformity. Upon request, we can provide a conformity certification from TÜV. Our standardised quality control in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 aims to meet all customer requirements regarding equipment and that none of our furnaces leave our works without being submitted to a 48-hours test under extreme conditions. Ex Heater now with ATEX certificate Since July 1st, 2003, explosion-proof electrical and mechanical devices have to be certified according to the "ATEX" regulations 94/9/EC for the European market. Explosion proof heaters and monitoring devices made by ELHO - Wärmetechnik  are now available with "ATEX" certificate.
